Iodine concentrate (iodide) for reef aquariums. Iodine is a fundamental component of seawater and is highly absorbed by fish and corals for their daily needs, making this product essential for marine aquariums. It helps prevent loss of pigmentation in corals and clams, supports shrimp during molting, and enhances coral growth, especially in Xenia and gorgonians. It also significantly promotes the growth of primary algae.

CONTENTS: Potassium Iodide, PPA Type (Pure for Analysis).

DIRECTIONS: 1 capful (5 ml) per 100 liters of water to be treated. This dose increases the iodine level in the aquarium by 0.01 ppm. The product maintains iodine (iodate) levels at an optimal range of 0.03 to 0.06 ppm.

Iodine consumption depends on various factors, so we recommend an initial dosage of 5 ml per 50 liters, measuring iodine levels using appropriate test kits. Once optimal levels are reached, dose once a week. Levels above 0.06 ppm are not harmful but are not recommended.

Remove activated carbon and turn off the skimmer for at least 24 hours after dosing.
