HAQUOSS H6 - CRYPTOCARYON

Cryptocaryon irritans is a parasitic protozoan that requires a host (marine fish) to feed on and reproduce in order to complete its life cycle. During the attachment stage (3 to 7 days), this parasite feeds on the host before detaching and completing its life cycle (about 15–20 hours), transforming into a cyst and settling on sand or rocks. While it is clear that stress has a detrimental impact on fish’s immune system, if the parasite is not present in the aquarium, it is impossible for the animals to become infected.

The best prevention is to add Haquoss H28 – Energy Fish (vitamins) and Haquoss H31 – Allium Power (liquid garlic) to the fish food to strengthen the immune system and eliminate minor parasites.

Haquoss H6 is a specific product for this type of situation and should be used as soon as the first symptoms appear. Remove the activated carbon filter, if present, and aerate the aquarium thoroughly. During administration, the water will turn blue/green, but this is completely normal.

IMPORTANT: Invertebrates and crustaceans cannot tolerate this product. Darken the tank during treatment.

DOSAGE: Increase the aquarium temperature to 28°/30° and dose 1 ml (1 capful = 5 ml) per 10 litres of water for the 1st and 3rd days. On the 4th day, do a partial 20% change by adding Haquoss DM1 – Conditioner and Haquoss DM2 – Alive, then repeat the dose on the 5th and 7th days if the infection persists. On the 10th day, do a substantial partial water change (at least 30%) and resume the activated carbon filtering. After the partial change, add Haquoss DM1, DM2, H26, and H28. Return the temperature to its previous values at the end of treatment.

Do not overdose and do not combine with other medicines.
