The problem presents with the onset of white filaments whose aggregation leads to the formation of lesions similar to cottony plaques on the fish's scales. Saprolegnia is a fungus that attacks and decomposes decaying substances, such as food scraps and various organic residues. This fungus does not usually infect fish, but it can occur when an animal is injured, as it can attack the wound, infecting the organism. The filaments of this parasite invade the skin cells, penetrating deeply enough to cause the fish to scrape against aquarium decorations due to the discomfort caused by the fungus.

Haquoss H3 is a specific product for this type of situation and should be used as soon as the first symptoms appear. Remove the activated carbon filter, if present, and aerate the aquarium thoroughly. During administration, the water will turn blue/green, but this is completely normal.

IMPORTANT: Invertebrates and crustaceans cannot tolerate this product. Darken the tank during treatment.

DOSAGE: Increase the aquarium temperature to 28°/30° and dose 1 ml (1 capful = 5 ml) per 25 lt of water for the 1st and 3rd days. On the 4th day, do a partial 20% change by adding Haquoss DM1 Conditioner and Haquoss DM2 Alive, then repeat the dose on the 5th and 7th days if the infection persists. On the 10th day, do a substantial partial water change (at least 30%) and resume activated carbon filtration. After the partial change, add Haquoss DM1, DM2, H26, and H28. Return the temperature to the previous values at the end of the treatment.

Do not overdose and do not combine with other medicines.
