HAQUOSS H21 - FINS - BODY - SCALES

Bacterial infections are caused by various types of bacteria such as aeromonas, vibrio, and pseudomonas. The onset of infection is primarily due to stress and improper aquarium management with inadequate chemistry. Another cause of ulcers, rather than frayed tails or body wounds, is accidentally hitting the fish against a decoration or sharp rock in the aquarium.

SYMPTOMS: The tips of the fins, especially the lateral ones, initially thicken and take on a milky appearance. Wounds and ulcers appear on the body, raising the scales. The mouth turns red and may lose tissue. This is the best time to treat with Haquoss H21. Subsequently, the fins become thinner and frayed, and in some cases, they even fall off, leaving a stump. The wounds may widen, and the ulcers may penetrate the fish's body. At this terminal stage of the disease, the presence of other bacteria and viruses in dead tissue is often evident, but they can already be predicted during the incubation phase with the appearance of whitish patches on the body, which will then turn into actual bloody ulcers that will detach the scales.

Haquoss H21 is a specific product for this type of situation and should be used as soon as the first symptoms appear. Suspend activated carbon filtration, if present, and aerate the aquarium thoroughly. During dosing, the water will turn yellow/green, but this is normal.

IMPORTANT: Invertebrates and crustaceans cannot tolerate this product. Darken the tank during treatment.

DOSAGE: Increase the aquarium temperature to 28°/30° and dose 1ml (1 capful = 5ml) for every 25 litres for the 1st and 3rd days. On the 4th day, perform a partial water change of 50%, possibly in two sessions separated by a few hours, using Haquoss DM1, conditioner and Haquoss DM2, alive. After the treatment, resume the activated carbon filtration and, after the partial change, add Haquoss H26 aloe shield and Haquoss H28 energy fish. Return the water temperature to the previous values at the end of the treatment.

Do not overdose or combine with other medicines.
