Cyanobacteria are tiny, ever-present organisms in marine water that, using light and carbon dioxide, can transform organic matter (food scraps, decaying coral, or dead fish, etc.) and rapidly multiply to enormous proportions, eventually attacking and suffocating corals and invertebrates in the tank. They are permanently present in the aquarium and can never be completely eliminated, but they can be effectively contained. They initially appear as small reddish patches on sand or rocks, later covering them with thick, dense algal blankets, so immediate action is necessary. If this proliferation is not eradicated initially, the elimination process will be very long and laborious, and unfortunately, it will never be complete. It will need to be controlled by attenuating it with Haquoss H19. When cyanobacteria first appear, immediately measure pH, kH, NO3, and PO4 levels. If the first two values are too low, since they are correlated, increase the carbonate hardness with Haquoss M12 kH balancer or Haquoss kH buffer. If the nitrate and phosphate values are high, intervene by placing the appropriate Haquoss nitrator and Haquoss phosphator resins in the filter and perform partial water changes until the desired values are reached using Haquoss DM1, conditioner and Haquoss DM2, alive. Lower the temperature to 23°, discontinue the commonly used additives such as calcium, magnesium, and trace elements. After adjusting the chemical values, immediately perform a couple of partial water changes equal to 10% every day, vacuuming up any patches of algae that appear, without breaking them up, with a traditional siphon vacuum cleaner. Insert Haquoss DM1, conditioner and Haquoss DM2, alive after each partial water change. Once water changes are complete, begin treatment with Haquoss H19, trying to keep chemical levels within limits. Reduce the aquarium's daylight hours by at least 50% during treatment.

DOSAGE: Using the supplied syringe, spray 1ml of Haquoss H19 liquid on the remaining cyanobacteria nests (each ml treats 5-6 cm2 of surface area). Caution: For each daily treatment, use a maximum of 5ml of product for every 25 litres of water. Turn off the recirculation pump during administration, check that the fish are calm and not breathing heavily, otherwise, reconnect the recirculation pump and activate the aerator, if present. Repeat the procedure 3 or 4 times, every other day, in the same spot. Turn off the skimmer, uv system, and ozone system, if present, for at least 6 hours during dosing. At the end of the treatment, it is recommended to perform a partial water change of 10/15% using Haquoss DM1, conditioner and Haquoss DM2, alive. At the end of each treatment, within 15 minutes, it is recommended to measure pH and kH. If these values drop, use Haquoss M12 kH balancer to restore them to the correct parameters. However, the attenuation of cyanobacteria and their almost complete disappearance are very slow, and it may take up to 15 days to see the effects of the treatment. Harmless to fish, corals, invertebrates, crustaceans, and higher algae.

Do not overdose or combine with other medicines.
