Haquoss Sphagnum Moss is a 100% natural and biodegradable product, free from impurities, toxic oils such as cedar, and chemical additives. It has excellent absorbency and high water retention, making it ideal for reptiles and animals that thrive in humid environments, including amphibians, lizards, geckos, frogs, hermit crabs, salamanders, and tarantulas. It replicates the natural conditions of tropical forests and jungles.

Its unique texture supports natural behaviors such as moulting and egg-laying, while also serving as an excellent substrate for live plant roots. It can absorb water up to 20 times its weight, maintaining consistent humidity levels and helping to stabilize pH.

APPLICATION: Moisten before use. Place on the bottom of the terrarium, on decorations such as driftwood or rocks, and inside shelters or caves created by the animals. Remove waste regularly or treat it using Haquoss T5 – Organic Waste Remover. Rinse thoroughly every 20 to 25 days and replace completely every 6 months. Before adding new substrate, disinfect the habitat and decorations using Haquoss T9 – Mites and Ticks to eliminate parasites.
