HAQUOSS M3 - pH PLUS MARINE 250ml

Haquoss M3 is a specific product for increasing pH without raising alkalinity (dKH) or calcium in marine aquariums that already have a correct carbonate hardness (dKH) between 8° and 10°. If the KH value is not within this range, it must first be corrected using Haquoss M12 – KH Balancer or Haquoss KH Buffer, and only then should Haquoss M3 be used to bring the pH to the desired level of 8.3° to 8.5° without altering alkalinity.

This product supports coral growth, as maintaining a higher and stable pH promotes faster development of both new fragments and established madreporic colonies. Natural seawater pH typically ranges from 8.2° to 8.4°, but maintaining aquarium pH at 8.4° to 8.5° can positively influence the growth of marine organisms in captivity, especially hard corals. It also helps prevent bleaching, reduces immune stress, and enhances coral coloration.

Low pH is often found in aquariums with limited surface agitation, in systems using calcium reactors with CO₂, or in poorly ventilated rooms, due to carbon dioxide accumulation. In aquariums with proper alkalinity, Haquoss M3 restores pH to optimal levels.

Do not exceed a final pH value of 8.5°, as higher values may stress or harm aquarium inhabitants. pH adjustments must be gradual (maximum 0.1° per adjustment) to avoid complications. It is normal for pH to fluctuate throughout the day, typically lower at night and higher during daylight hours, due to natural photosynthesis cycles.

Harmless to fish, crustaceans, corals, and invertebrates.

DOSAGE: The required dosage varies depending on several factors. As a general guideline, 2.5 ml (1 capful = 5 ml) increases pH by approximately 0.1° to 0.2° in 50 liters of water, depending on CO₂ levels and alkalinity. Test KH and pH regularly using appropriate test kits before and after dosing. If using an electronic pH meter, ensure the probe is properly calibrated, as probes in seawater typically last about one year and may give inaccurate readings afterward.
