HAQUOSS H5 - SWIM BLADDER

In fish, the swim bladder serves as a hydrostatic organ. Since its specific weight is higher than that of water, they would tend to sink to the bottom if they did not possess this special organ that allows them to swim at the desired depth. The gases contained within the bladder are produced in the wall covering it and are expelled through a sphincter.

In some species, such as common cold-water goldfish, swim bladder problems are very common and manifest as the fish floating on the surface or remaining upside down on the bottom, especially immediately after meals, during the digestive process.

PREVENTION: Avoid overfeeding and spread it throughout the day without overfeeding. Avoid letting the feed float too much to prevent the fish from swallowing air along with it. In addition to goldfish, it particularly affects discus, angelfish, and anabantids (Trychogaster, Colisa, Gourami, Betta), which are tall, flat-sided fish.

Haquoss H5 is a specific product for this type of problem and should be used as soon as the first symptoms appear. Stop feeding for three days and feed only boiled peas and zucchini during treatment. The water may become cloudy and yellow, but this is normal.

DOSAGE: Increase the aquarium temperature to 28°/30°, stop the activated carbon filtration, if present, and aerate the aquarium thoroughly. Dose 1 ml (1 capful = 5 ml) for every 25 liters of water on the 1st and 3rd day. On the 4th day, do a partial 30% water change by adding Haquoss DM1 – Conditioner and Haquoss DM2 – Alive.

IMPORTANT: Invertebrates and crustaceans cannot tolerate this product. Darken the tank during treatment. Resume the activated carbon filtration and, after the partial change, add Haquoss H26 – Aloe Shield and Haquoss H28 – Energy Fish. Return the temperature to the previous values at the end of the treatment.

Do not overdose and do not combine with other medicines.
