HAQUOSS H10 - HEXA & SPIRO
Hexamita and spironucleus are flagellated protozoa often found in aquariums. When fish are experiencing problems with de-humidification and stress, they are attacked by these parasites, particularly american cichlids (scalar, discus, astronotus, apistogramma). In hexamita, the sensory pits on the fish's heads erode, forming small craters that extend into the skull, causing bacterial infections that ultimately lead to death. The main effect of causing hith or fhlle (hole disease) is to prevent the fish from absorbing the nutrients they need, particularly calcium and vitamins.
SYMPTOMS: Discoloration, weight loss, loss of appetite, immobility, and the appearance of ulcers on the head.
In the case of spironucleus, the fish's weakness leads to the development of the parasite, which attacks the entire digestive tract. In the case of spironucleus, the fish's weakness leads to the development of the parasite, which attacks the entire digestive tract.
SYMPTOMS: The fish darkens to black, swimming backwards, weight loss, retreating to hidden areas with its head down, skin ulcers/abrasions on the abdomen, and refusal to eat.
Haquoss H10 is a specific product for both problems and should be used as soon as the first symptoms appear. The water may become cloudy and yellow, but this is normal.
IMPORTANT: Invertebrates and crustaceans cannot tolerate this product. Darken the tank during treatment.
DOSAGE: Increase the aquarium temperature to 28°/30°, suspend activated carbon filtration, if present, suspend CO2 supply, if present. Add one teaspoon of the product (included) for every 40 liters of water to be treated to the transparent cylinder (included) and mix it with 20 ml of aquarium water. Shake well for a few seconds to dissolve the solution thoroughly, then pour the contents near the recirculation pump outlet. For example, if you need to treat 120 liters of water, repeat this process three times, and so on. Administer the dose for three days, and on the fifth day, partially clean the water by 30% by adding Haquoss DM1, conditioner and Haquoss DM2, alive. Repeat the dose on the sixth, seventh, and eighth days if the infection persists. On the ninth day, perform a substantial partial water change (at least 30%) and resume activated carbon filtration. After the partial change, introduce Haquoss DM1, DM2, H26, and H28 at the recommended doses, returning the temperature to the previous values at the end of treatment. The disease may take up to a fortnight to regress, so monitor the animals being treated.
Do not overdose and do not combine with other medicines.
