HAQUOSS DM3 - NO2 ULTRAFAST 250ml

Nitrites (NO2) constitute the second step in the nitrogen cycle and are derived from the transformation of ammonium/ammonia by the nitrobacter bacteria present. In freshwater, the maximum nitrite level is between 0.05 and 0.15 mg/l, so a concentration of 0.20 mg/l is already indicative of filter malfunction. Values above 0.50 mg/l are extremely dangerous for the aquatic environment, risking fish loss. In saltwater, especially in the presence of invertebrates, a concentration of 0.05 mg/l should not be exceeded; in fact, even 0.10 mg/l is lethal for some animals. Haquoss DM3 is a 100% natural, concentrated proteolytic product composed of purifying elements that act immediately and counteract the decomposition of organic substances that create nitrites (NO2), in both freshwater and saltwater. Harmless to fish, plants, crustaceans, invertebrates, and corals.

DOSAGE: Before using the product, we recommend performing a partial water change of 15% to 30% (if the NO2 value is 0.50 mg/l or higher, do 30%), siphoning the bottom well and replacing or rinsing only the pre-filtering materials (white fiber or sponges placed in the first stage of the filter). 1 ml of product eliminates 0.1 mg/l for every 10 liters of water (1 capful = 5 ml). Example: if you have 0.5 mg/l in a 100 liter aquarium, you must use 50 ml of product twice in two days to reach 0 mg/l. The nitrites will disappear on the third day. Repeat the dose if necessary, as commercial tests measure up to 1 mg/l and it is obviously possible that the value is higher. Stop feeding the fish during treatment and do not clean the filter.
