HAQUOSS D6 - NITRIPUR FRESHWATER 100ml
Nitrites (NO2) are harmful to the aquatic environment. They are produced by a biological process caused by fish and invertebrate feces, food residues, and plant decay. Nitrites can also be caused by the use of chemical medications and the replacement of filter media, which eliminates most of the bacteria present. Ammonia, which appears in the water at the beginning of the nitrogen cycle, is converted into nitrites by nitrosomonas bacteria (also contained in the bacterial activator Haquoss DM2 alive, for use both at the beginning and throughout aquarium maintenance). Nitrites are then converted into nitrates by nitrobacter bacteria (also present in haquoss dm2 alive) and also become plant food. Aquarium nitrite levels should be 0, 0.15 mg/l. This product is harmless to fish and crustaceans.
DOSAGE: Shake well. 20ml (one capful = 5ml) per 100l of water daily until the problem is resolved. If the level is very high (over 0.50 mg/l), change 30, 40% of the water by siphoning the gravel before using the product. Monitor the NO2 concentration daily using commercially available tests until results are obtained, and perform a partial water change of at least 25% after treatment using Haquoss DM1, conditioner and Haquoss DM2 Alive at the maintenance dose. Always test nitrites at least once a week.
