Before use, perform a partial water change of 10% and siphon the substrate. Test NO2 levels regularly, at least once a week.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIMPORTANT: Most commercial test kits measure nitrites up to 2 mg\/L. If levels exceed this, it is not possible to accurately determine resin performance. It is therefore recommended to keep the product in the filter continuously and replace it as instructed.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen exhausted, the resin does not release nitrites back into the water, it simply stops absorbing them.
