This substrate is composed exclusively of heat-treated pine bark to prevent the presence of spores and parasites. It stimulates natural digging behavior, facilitates egg-laying, and absorbs odors. Clean the substrate every week, removing it from the terrarium and sifting it well. Every 2 months, place it in a bowl of warm water for at least 15 minutes, adding 5% Haquoss T4, reptiles bath lotion to disinfect it and eliminate parasites. Let it dry until only 10–15% humidity remains, then return it to the terrarium.
